Where does the workshop take place?
At an artisan compound in Accra where master batik and pottery craftspeople work, teach, and pass their skills to the next generation.
How long is the workshop?
About 3–4 hours covering both batik fabric-making and pottery. You take everything you create home with you.
Do I need any artistic experience?
None at all. This is designed for complete beginners. The joy is in the doing, not the perfection.
Can children join?
Yes. The workshop is family-friendly and children tend to love both activities. It's one of the best family experiences we offer.
Can I take my work home?
Yes — your batik piece and pottery creation are yours. Pottery needs to dry first; your guide will pack it safely for travel.
What should I wear?
Clothes you don't mind getting dye or clay on. Aprons are provided but batik dye has a mind of its own.
