The People Make the Place.

Hosted by people who grew up here. Stories, traditions and the everyday moments of the streets we call home, whether you are seeing them for the first time or coming back to them.

See Ghana With Us
The Beginning of Our Story

Why We Started People & Places

Whenever we shared images from home, we kept hearing the same thing: “I never knew Ghana looked like this.” We realized that too many people were seeing only a small part of the place we knew and loved.
So we created People & Places to share more of the Ghana we know: its history, food, daily rhythms, and the people who give each place its meaning.

How You're Hosted

Care You Can
Actually Feel

Traveling with us should feel less like following a tour and more like being welcomed in. Your hosts notice your pace, share the stories behind each place, and leave room for the moments no itinerary can plan.

  1. Places With Meaning

Understand the history and human stories behind what you see, not just where to stand for a photograph.

“This was not just a tour — it was emotional, educational, spiritual, and incredibly meaningful for all of us.” — Cynthia Muldrow
  2. Your Comfort Matters

Your pace, questions, and needs shape the day, whether you travel alone, with family, or as a group.

“I felt safe, protected and well taken care of.” — Myra Mirabel Aboagye
  3. Hosted From Experience

The people guiding you know these roads, communities, and stories because Ghana is home.

“During the trip, you could feel the warmth and passion at every step of the way, and that's completely contagious for the group!” — Iga Gawronska
  4. Plans That Fit Real Life

We plan honestly around your time, budget, and priorities. When life changes, we adjust with you.

“Even with short notice, everything was handled smoothly and without any stress which honestly says a lot.” — Jacoya Miller
