Got Questions? We've Got Answers.

Can I book this on my own?
This one runs for groups of three or more, because of the boat. If you are travelling alone or as a pair, tell us your dates and we will try to join you to another booking.
How far is Ada from Accra?
About 2–2.5 hours east of Accra. We travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle with good company along the way.
Is the boat ride included?
Yes. Boat transport around the Ada waterways is part of the tour. We stop at Coconut Island, where climbers cut fresh coconuts for you, Crocodile Island, and Rum Island, where a local family distils sugar-cane rum.
Is lunch included?
No — lunch is at your own expense. There is fresh seafood to be had along the way, and your guide will point you at the good places.
Is swimming safe at Ada?
The waterways are calm, but this is a boat and island day rather than a beach day. Your guide will tell you what is sensible on the day.
What should I bring?
Sun protection, a hat, something you do not mind getting a little wet, and a camera. You will be on and off a boat.
Can I extend and stay overnight?
Yes. Ada has lovely beach resorts. Ask us about overnight arrangements when booking.
